Gary's first book, Grateful American: A Journey from Self to Service, is now available for purchase! Order Now

Grateful American, a new memoir written by Gary Sinise, tells the story of how one man found his true calling in life. Like most of us, Gary was unsure of the direction his life would take when he was young. After co-founding the Steppenwolf Theater and forging a successful acting career with many high-profile roles including Apollo 13, Ransom, CSI: NY, and his award-winning portrayal of Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump, Gary found success. However, Gary knew that he could do more for the country he loves and founded the Gary Sinise Foundation, a non-profit that works to serve America’s defenders, veterans, first responders, their families and those in need.

The book is now available through many outlets including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Audible, and more.
