Friends,
I finally had a little time to let folks know that we had a terrific trip to The Middle East this past January playing for our troops. It was a very quick trip. We left on a Thursday, 36 hours in the air and 36 on the ground, and headed back to The States at midnight on Saturday after our show. I'd like to thank my dear friend Judy Seale of Stars for Stripes for producing the show and making it all possible. Not only did I get to play a Lt. Dan Band show for over 5,000 of our service men and women but I got to shake hands and say a personal thank you to over 1,000 during the three meet & greets we were able to sneak in as well.
My friend, filmmaker Jake Rademacher (Brothers at War) came along with me to do some filming.
I hope you enjoy this clip which will give you a little idea of this wonderful trip. As always, it was an honor and a privilege to say thank you to our defenders with a little entertainment.
