One such hero is U.S. Army Sergeant Shane Parsons, whose home dedication in Plain City, Ohio became Home #85 in August 2023.

What started as Gary’s personal efforts and grew into the Gary Sinise Foundation’s home building initiative, we’ve had the privilege of serving those who have sacrificed greatly, restoring not just mobility, but dignity, independence, and family connection.
New Program: Educating The Next Generation
We’re bringing students to places where history becomes real, from the National WWII Museum to the 9/11 Memorial. Through firsthand accounts from veterans, first responders, and those who lived it, they gain a deeper understanding of the true cost of freedom.
