Gary Sinise and GSF Honor The Greatest Generation on the 75th Anniversary of V-E Day
V-E Day (Victory in Europe Day) celebrates the formal acceptance by the Allies of Nazi Germany's unconditional surrender of its armed forces on Tuesday, 8 May 1945. To mark the 75th anniversary of this historic day, our Founder and Chairman, Gary Sinise, spoke with a 97-year-old WWII B-24 pilot who experienced V-E Day in London in 1945. Of the 16 million Americans who served in WWII, less than 400,000 remain with us today. It's critical that we record their history to educate future generations. Special thanks to the National WWII Museum for making this video possible.

On Dec 10, 2021, the town of Mayfield was hit by a devastating tornado resulting in over 1,300 homes and buildings destroyed in its wake. Through the generosity of our incredible supporters, we hosted a GSF "First Responder Appreciation Day." The uplifting event brought smiles to the whole community and featured a local Kentucky band, BBQ, and festival activities for the whole community! Gary Sinise Foundation Grant Helps Boston Fire Department Mitigate Occupational Cancer
To help Boston firefighters mitigate their exposure to occupational cancer, the Gary Sinise Foundation funded the Boston Firefighters Burn Foundation with a grant to purchase and install ten washing machines and 32 drying cabinets at firehouses around the city.
