Mary Elise Loughran serves as the Director of Donor Relations for the Gary Sinise Foundation, where she oversees the Foundation's national donor stewardship efforts — including the care of our Legacy Society — ensuring that every supporter is recognized for the profound difference their generosity makes in the lives of our nation's defenders.

Mary Elise's passion for serving those who serve was ignited long before she joined the Foundation. While in college, she worked with Bridge 2 Sports, recruiting and supporting participants for the Valor Games Southeast, an Olympic-style adaptive sports competition for disabled veterans. That experience left a lasting mark, shaping her commitment to the veteran and military community that guides her work to this day.

She joined the Gary Sinise Foundation in early 2022 as part of the Corporate Relations team, building meaningful relationships with donors and partners alike, and enjoys helping others find purpose by supporting those who have sacrificed for our safety and security.

Mary Elise brings years of philanthropic expertise to her work, with previous fundraising experience at Meals on Wheels and ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her degree in Business Administration from Kenan-Flagler Business School.

With family members and close friends who have worn the uniform, Mary Elise counts herself among the many Grateful Americans whose lives have been shaped by the selfless service of our nation's heroes.
