James Stuckmann

Originally from Chicago and now based in Nashville, James Stuckmann has been managing the logistical and production elements of every Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band performance for over 20 years.

His career in live music began with Gary and the band in 2004 while studying music business and production at Columbia College Chicago, where he had the opportunity right out of class to assist with a new band led by Gary Sinise—who just so happens to be one of his favorite actors of all time. Since then, James has worked with numerous artists in a variety of tour and production management roles, and earned a master’s degree in communication from Northwestern University.

James currently serves as Senior National Production Manager for a leading production management firm, overseeing large-scale events around the world. Simultaneously, he continues his longtime role with Gary and the Gary Sinise Foundation, managing every detail of the band’s live shows while also stepping on stage to play guitar - allowing him to combine his love of performing with the experience he’s built in production and logistics over the years.

Throughout his career, James has been honored to have the opportunity to support Gary’s mission of bringing entertainment to all those who serve our country. When not on the road, he enjoys playing bass with indie-folk band Stolen Silver and spending time with family and his three dogs.
