San Diego Chapter
The Gary Sinise Foundation San Diego Chapter provides critical support to our nation's defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need within our local communities.
About the Chapter
Launching in August 2021, the Gary Sinise Foundation San Diego Chapter is the second of many chapters that will extend the philanthropy of our Founder and Chairman, Gary Sinise, and the footprint of the Gary Sinise Foundation.
San Diego is home to the nation’s largest concentration of military personnel, including one-sixth of U.S. Navy and over one-fourth of U.S. Marine Corps personnel. Approximately 16,000 service members separate from active-duty service in San Diego each year, with about 28% of them estimated to remain in the region after separation.
The San Diego Chapter, like those to come in other regions across the country, will complement the efforts of the Gary Sinise Foundation, catalyzing a greater impact in the lives of our nation's heroes and their families.
