Bobby George joined the Gary Sinise Foundation in 2016 as an Event Coordinator and has since seen the growth of many of our programs, leading him to his current role as Manager of Programs and Events. A local to the San Fernando Valley, Bobby is a graduate of Cal State Northridge where he received a degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminology. Prior to joining the team, he worked in the studio business for seven years creating and designing theatrical draperies for award and TV shows where he perfected his event management and team building skills. Inspired by his grandfather’s service in WWII, he has a desire to give back to those who serve and sacrifice for our country. As Manager of Programs and Events, Bobby is responsible for ensuring the success of the Foundation's Community Outreach & Education programs which serve veterans and first responders of all ages. From accompanying WWII veterans to New Orleans on Soaring Valor to purchasing equipment for First Responder Departments in need, Bobby is essential in making sure Veterans & First Responders are not forgotten.
