Matt Williams

Matt joined the Gary Sinise Foundation in August 2023 as the Director of Communications. Matt is responsible for strategic internal and external communications, storytelling and community focused engagement efforts for the Foundation.

Matt holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University, a bachelor’s degree in Communications from UNC Chapel Hill and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Guitar from Berklee College of Music. He served for 8 years in the United States Army and for 4.5 years in CIA as a Paramilitary Operations Officer and Case Officer. Matt also worked for Amazon as an Operations Manager and a Senior Program Manager on Amazon’s Global Military Affairs team.

Matt lives in Leesburg, VA and has two young children.
