Gary Sinise & Foundation Serving Our Nation's Heroes At Highland Park

Back in July, Gary Sinise and the Foundation had the honor of serving our nation’s heroes in Gary’s hometown of Highland Park, Illinois. Gary was thrilled to uplift his childhood community after it was rocked by the tragedy of last year.

“Evil things happen every day, all around the world. And when it touches you close to home, it changes you,” said Gary. A few days after the 2022 shooting in this community, he flew to Highland Park. Gary spent time with both the Police and Fire Departments and served them a warm meal – showing his immense gratitude for these brave men and women.

“That’s the best thing—we can pull communities together,” said Gary. “Highland Park lives on in my heart.”
