2018 Impact Video & Holiday Note from Gary

Dear Friends,

First, I’d like to extend my hope that this letter finds you and your loved ones safe and well.

This year, from coast to coast, our nation has faced so much loss, so much destruction, and so much fear. But I am always inspired by the resiliency of the American people to carry on. When disasters and tragedies strike, we pause to reflect on our many blessings. Often, my thoughts turn to the men and women who respond in times of crisis and who keep us safe in an uncertain and dangerous world.

Throughout my travels in support of our defenders, I have been introduced to countless heroes all across the globe. They have shown me what true courage is. During these times of challenge, when at our most vulnerable, we look to these individuals for their leadership and composure. Time and again, they motivate me to do a little more, to work a little harder, and to be a better man.

Getting to know our heroes remains my utmost privilege. And though you may not have met these men and women personally, your lives, too, are inextricably bound. You have provided support for our Gold Star families during their darkest times. You have built specially adapted smart homes for our severely wounded. You have shown our WWII veterans the museum built in their honor. And through your generosity, you have helped demonstrate our nation’s unwavering gratitude for all their sacrifices.

I’m a grateful American who loves his country. I know where my freedom comes from and I appreciate all those who sacrifice to defend it. As a donor of the Gary Sinise Foundation, I know you feel the same way. I hope we can count on your support once more.
