Today is National First Responders Appreciation Day. Join us as we show our gratitude for the remarkable courage and bravery of these men and women.
Every day, our firefighters, police, and EMTs put their lives on the line to serve our communities. They are the first to arrive at an accident or natural disaster. They forego their personal safety in order to save others. And in the midst of crisis, they are a calming, dependable presence.
At the Gary Sinise Foundation, our first responders are our heroes. Their courage and selflessness must never be taken for granted. This May, we proudly hosted CONCERT FOR DEFENDERS, an event to celebrate these incredible individuals at the Los Angeles VA. Katharine McPhee and Five for Fighting joined Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band for day of fun, food, and appreciation. Enjoy the video below!
