The past year has been amazing. With your help, we’ve introduced brand new initiatives to connect with our heroes on a whole new level.
Our Relief & Resiliency Outreach now includes a mentorship program that unites post-9/11 wounded heroes with wounded veterans from the Vietnam and Korean Wars for a seven-day retreat. High school students are now accompanying our WWII veterans in the Soaring Valor experience to learn history firsthand from The Greatest Generation. And our R.I.S.E. initiatives have only continued to grow. Since Gary's early involvement in 2010 through the Foundation's work to-date, 59 specially adapted smart homes are now complete or underway for severely wounded heroes across America.
