Nathan Linhardt joined the Gary Sinise Foundation team in January of 2016 as a Sr. Project Coordinator for the R.I.S.E. Program, working directly with our many local builders throughout the country in each community that the foundation has built in. Nathan has been involved with almost every aspect of the R.I.S.E. Program during his tenure. As time passed and the R.I.S.E. Program continued to grow and evolve, Nathan accepted a new role as the Associate Director of Operations, working alongside program director Scott Schaeperkoetter to continually improve and enhance program management and oversight with a focus on efficiency and fiscal responsibility. In his current capacity, Nathan also collaborates and works directly with all of the R.I.S.E. Program’s national building partners on a daily basis with activities ranging from procurement to donor networking and relations.
Nathan attended Westminster College, playing on the football team all four years. He graduated in 2005 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Marketing. After graduation, Nathan worked for Missouri Farm Bureau as a multi-line claims representative handling home, auto, injury, and liability claims. In 2006, Nathan transitioned to Farmers Insurance as an Auto Claims Representative. In that capacity, he was responsible for investigating claims and handling cases through settlement. He established many relationships with various vendors. Throughout his last five years with Farmers, Nathan was involved in many local and national committees, as well as advisory boards, focused on supporting the customer experience.
Nathan and his wife Sarah, avid St. Louis Cardinal and Missouri Tiger fans, have one son and two daughters: Shay, Taylor, and Alyx. He stays busy through his children’s activities that involve, football, baseball, basketball, dance, and ballet. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family as well as attending local sporting events, hunting, BBQing, and anything that involves the outdoors. Nathan also continues his passion for football by coaching the local youth program. Understanding where our freedom comes from and the many sacrifices that have and will be made in the future, Nathan feels honored to play a small role in the foundation’s mission to honor and serve our nation’s defenders.
