Amber Johnson comes from a large military family with a passion for giving back to her community. She graduated from the University of Houston in 2006 and began working in non-profit as an advocate for injured veterans at Camp Lejuene, NC in 2008.
Amber has a background in non-profit management and remained a leader in program development for wounded, ill, and injured veterans for more than eight years. Before joining Snowball Express, Amber also managed a scholarship program for spouses and caregivers of injured veterans.
Amber is passionate about our nation’s military and dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of our defenders. She is devoted to providing inspiration and healing opportunities for children of fallen military heroes. Amber joined the Gary Sinise Foundation in January 2018 as Operations Director for the Snowball Express program.
