Mike Swift

Mike Swift is the Vice President and General Manager of the North American Building Insulation business at Owens Corning. He was appointed to the position in 2018 and is an officer of the company.

Since 2007, Swift has been responsible for driving value creation in the new construction, remodel and commercial markets for the Insulation business in North America. He was promoted to Vice President in 2008 and added General Manager responsibilities in October 2018. Over this period, he led the recovery in the company’s residential insulation business, the commercial integration of the Thermafiber® mineral wool business, the growth of extruded polystyrene foam business, and the expansion of commercial business in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining Owens Corning, Swift was with Velux-America, Inc. where since 1988, he served in sales leadership roles, eventually being appointed as the Director of Sales for the U.S. operations.

Swift graduated with a B.S. in business from the University of Vermont, where he was an ROTC scholarship recipient. He later joined the Army National Guard and commanded an M1 Tank Company, where he established a strong leadership base while developing skills in strategy and execution.
