Tina Secrease joined the Gary Sinise Foundation in March 2021 as the Foundation's Outreach Assistant.
Tina's passion for service started at an early age when she began volunteering in her local community at 14 years old. Upon graduating high school, she continued her passion for serving others by providing medical support to Marines in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. During her eight years in the military, Tina served overseas in Okinawa, Japan, and deployed twice to Iraq. She received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Cal State University Channel Islands. During her time at CSUCI, Tina served on student government as the Senator for Veterans and Non-Traditional Students and as an Outreach Intern in the Veteran's Affairs program. She received a Legacy Award for her work in the Veterans Center.
Tina enjoys reading, watching documentaries, baking, and spending time with her three children. She considers it a true honor to be a part of the Gary Sinise Foundation and to be able to continue with her passion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
