Becky Morauer joined the Gary Sinise Foundation in April 2021 as its National Events Manager.
Becky attended the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management. Throughout her career, she has established herself as an industrious and intentional brand advocate, specializing in relationship development and event management.
Before joining the Gary Sinise Foundation, she most recently made magic for groups of all types at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando – most notably the Gary Sinise Foundation’s own Snowball Express starting in 2018, of which she is most proud. She is beyond thrilled to now orchestrate Snowball Express and other remarkable programs as an official GSF family member.
Coming from a long line of military service members, Becky inherited a fierce sense of pride and devotion for honoring our nation’s defenders. Her grandfather served as a tail gunner in WWII, was shot down and taken into protection by the French underground before returning safely home. Her grandmother was a Navy Nurse in WWII and Korea. Becky’s father, a retired Naval Commander, was a helicopter pilot and defended with the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command 5th Fleet. Her mother operated as a Navy Nurse and continued her dedication as a nurse for the Veterans Health Administration.
Becky’s sister-in-law and brother-in-law actively serve as lieutenants in the United States Navy, in the JAG Corps, and as a physician in the Medical Corps, respectively. Her most cherished roles are wife to her high school sweetheart, Kurt, and mother to her two young children, Liam, and Lillian.
