Amber has a background in nonprofit management and remained a leader in program development for wounded, ill, and injured veterans for more than eight years. Before joining Snowball Express, Amber also managed a scholarship program for spouses and caregivers of injured veterans.
Amber is passionate about our nation’s military and dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of our defenders. She is devoted to providing inspiration and healing opportunities for children of fallen military heroes. Amber joined the Gary Sinise Foundation in January 2018 as Operations Director for the Snowball Express program and has since transitioned to the Foundation’s Manager of Family Support. She provides ongoing support for surviving family members, targeting child well-being, meeting family needs and working towards long term stability and success. Amber also links families with tangible resources and supports systems both nationally and within their own communities.
