Adam Keys Benefit Concert

Friday August 17, 2012

About Sgt. Adam Keys

Adam Keys
Army Sgt. Adam Keys lost both his legs and his left hand after a roadside bomb exploded on July 14, 2010 in Afghanistan.  Adam would later learn the bomb took the lives of four soldiers, including his best friend, Jesse Reed of Whitehall.  The Morning Call article continues to recount when Adam was finally strong enough to hear about the loss of Jessie and his fellow soldiers, “He didn’t want to believe it,” Julie Keys said. “He cried. He grieved as we did when we heard. It was a shock. He didn’t want to hear it. None of us did.” Read his full bio.

The Show

Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band
On Friday August 17, 2012 Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dand will perform a concert at the State Theatre of the Arts. The performance is a joint effort between the Gary Sinise Foundation and Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Proceeds Will Benefit

Building for America’s Bravest™. All soldiers encounter difficulty returning to their lives as civilians, but multiple amputees face the incredible challenge of this adjustment without their limbs. Together with Tunnel to Towers Foundation, we’re helping to construct customized smarthomes for America’s most severely injured veterans.

Together, we’ve already helped to build a home for Army Specialist Brendan Marrocco. Check out this video below to learn more.
