We’re thrilled to announce that our JoS. A. Bank “Uniform of Success” promotional partnership has been an enormous success. The Gary Sinise Foundation will be proudly distributing more than 5,000 free suit vouchers from the overwhelming responses we’ve received in our fax, email, and mailbox.
Here’s a photo and message we received on our Facebook page—
We just wanted to express our many thanks to Gary Sinise Foundation and Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. for sending my husband a voucher for a free suit! He says now he’s better armed to handle the challenges of the civilian job market or starting his own business. We really appreciate it…. oh, and doesn’t he look schnazzy?”
—And we most certainly agree, he does look schnazzy!
It is our hope that these suits help our heroes pursue their civilian careers with confidence. While they are first a token of our appreciation for their service and sacrifice, we hope they’ll remain a symbol of the encouragement and pride of a grateful nation.
Since the promotion, thousands more applications have poured in than we have available vouchers. Unfortunately, that means we will not be able to provide free suit vouchers to many deserving applicants. We have received everyone’s communications and we’re working hard to respond to each one. If you provided all due information and do not receive a voucher for this promotion, rest assured you will be first-in-line for our next promotion.
We’ve received so many gracious thank you notes about the promotion, we just had to share a few of them below. Please continue to post photos of your new suits at our Facebook page!
As always, we thank you for your continued support. God bless you all!
“First of all, I just want to say thank you. Today, yesterday rather, I received in the mail one voucher for a free suit from Jos. A. Bank, This is the first real suit I will have ever owned. I honestly have no idea how to express my gratitude towards your foundation and the people who support it. This is the greatest gift that I could have asked for coming from the kindness of people. I am honored to serve this great nation and I thank you for what you do.”
“I want to thank you for the voucher, I just got it in the mail. I am very happy that there is people who care about the sacrifices that all military members do. Being a military member, i know that I am a member of a very select club. Only 10% of all Americans have serviced and even less know what we really do. I get teared up when I get recognized and am very teary right now.”
“Thank you for the Suit program! My soldier separated over a year ago from active duty and was told by one prospective employer he needed to learn how to dress. thanks for the opportunity for my soldier to apply for a suit.”
