Dearest friends and supporters,
We hope that 2012 has been kind to you all. It's hard to believe how fast it's zooming by!
If you haven't already seen it, 60 Minutes profiled Gary and the foundation earlier this year with a special highlight on our Building for America's Bravestâ„¢ partnership program. The segment aired May 13th on CBS, but you can view it above.
We hope you'll catch up on the exciting things we've already accomplished this year. In January, Gary and the Lt. Dan Band undertook a whirlwind tour of Kuwait with a performance for the troops at Camp Arifjan. In March, we hosted a fundraising concert for triple-amputee veteran Juan Dominguez and just broke ground on his new Smart Home in Temecula, CA. Last month, we held two more fundraising concerts in Brooklyn and Albany to build Smart Homes for severely wounded veterans Bryan Dilberian and Joseph Wilkinson. And with one concert already down in Fort Drum and two more to go in Martinsville, VA and Denver along with a sponsored golf tournament, May is shaping up to be our biggest month yet. According to our calendar, it's only the beginning.
Of course, we always need your support. If you have the means, we hope you'll consider making a donation. Together, we can ensure our nation's defenders and their families know their sacrifices are appreciated. We owe it to them.
Thank you all and God bless.
