Gary Sinise Foundation is proud to join GE, the Manufacturing Institute, Alcoa Inc., Boeing, Lockheed Martin, NAM, Futures Inc., the Atlantic Council, LinkedIn and TechShop to launch the GET SKILLS TO WORK coalition to train U.S. Veterans for jobs in advanced manufacturing.
Our goal is to train & match 100,000 Veterans by 2015.
With an estimated 600,000 open advanced manufacturing jobs across America, this program is committed to closing the gap and creating new futures for those who worked to make ours better.
We have the most well-trained, best prepared and technically advanced military the world has ever seen. There’s going to be a lot of capable people who leave military life to enter the civilian work force.
About the Program
